Renewing bonded rubber bushes in subframe: replace
Renewing bonded rubber bushes in subframe: replace
Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331-, see equivalent → Anchor.
Removal:
  W00-0427
–  Unscrew bolts -1- in clamp on rubber metal bearing on stabiliser
–  Remove clamp -2- and rubber metal bearing -3-.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence; note the following:
  A42-0280
–  Rubber meta bearing must make contact with collar -arrow- on stabiliser.
–  Manually tighten bolts -1- in clamp on rubber metal bearing on stabiliser
–  Lower vehicle onto its wheels and bounce suspension several times.
–  Tighten bolts -1- to specified tightening torque. → Item
