Removing and installing strut > < Removal:

–  Fit the block support and screw in bolt -1-.
  N48-10161
–  Fit the bolts -arrows-.
  Note
The bolts -arrows- are screwed in from the side of the cross bar.
–  Connect the connector -1- in their housing in the block support and push as far as it will go in the opposite direction of the -arrow-.

–  Fit the bolts -arrows- located below the console.
–  Install steering column → Chapter.
–  Install dash panel insert → Electrical system; Rep. gr. 90.

Steering column to mounting bracket20 Nm

–  Carry out the → basic adjustment of the steering wheel angle sender -G85- using the vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 505X-.
