Explanation of the ContiSeal tyre
Explanation of the ContiSeal tyre
t  ContiSeal is a preventative sealing compound installed by the manufacturer Continental as an integral component of the production process.
t  ContiSeal is a self-adhesive, viscous sealing compound that is applied in an even coat from shoulder to shoulder on the inside of the running surface.
t  This sealing compound is a component of the ContiSeal tyre.

t  ContiSeal tyres are designated by a special symbol on the wall of the tyre.
  Caution
The sealing compound is not intended as a permanent tyre repair following a puncture.
  N44-10355
t  When the tread of a ContiSeal tyre is penetrated by an object with a diameter of up to 5 mm, the sealing compound encloses this and due to the immediate sealing, prevents the loss of pressure.
  N44-10356
t  The sealing compound is designed to seal the majority of puncture types caused by foreign bodies up to 5 mm in diameter.
t  ContiSeal significantly reduces the frequency of flat tyres, but it is not intended to allow the tyre to be operated with reduced pressure or when flat (without air).
t  With all other aspects, the ContiSeal tyres have the same features as tyres without this system.
