  Note!

When retrofitting an “alpha”, “beta” or “gamma” radio unit from SEAT, the earth cable must be removed from slot 2 of the black, 8-pin multi-pin connector -T8--, as otherwise the phone muting function would be permanently activated.
The 8-pin multi-pin connector -T8- is located on the upright pillar on the left inside the radio installation slot.

–  In order to connect the loudspeakers, the black, 14-pin multi-pin connector I must be detached at the amplifier and directly connected to the loudspeaker output of the radio with adapter line RP no. 7M0 051 443. The amplifier remains unused.
If necessary, use an adapter plug for the radio aerial connection.
If a radio unit from another manufacturer is to be retrofitted, please follow the installation and connection instructions issued by the manufacturer in question.
