12 V socket and cigarette lighterU1: Removing and installing
12 V socket and cigarette lighter -U1-: Removing and installing
When removing the 12 V socket or the cigarette lighter -U1-, it is no longer necessary to remove the units in which they are located. All the instructions and information relative to this chapter are given in the Repair Manual → Electrical system: General information; Rep. gr.96.
Location of the 12 V socket:
   
1 - Base support of the centre console operating unit.
2 - Rear centre console trim.
3 - Luggage compartment side trim.
4 - Centre console armrest, inside.
5 - Centre console.

  Note
When removing and installing the 12 V socket and the cigarette lighter -U1-, it is no longer necessary to remove the units in which they are located. For this purpose, use the extractor -T40148-, see the instructions and information relative to this chapter that are listed in the repair manual → Electrical system: General information; Rep. gr.96.
