Removing
–  If control unit is replaced, select „Replacement“ function for appropriate control unit in „Guided fault-finding“.
To do so, use the → Vehicle diagnostic tester.
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.
   
–  Remove the side trim on the right in the luggage compartment → Bodywork, interior fitting work; Rep. gr.70.
–  Separate the connectors -3- and remove the parking aid control unit -J446--2- by removing the fasteners -1-.
