Remove the switch fitted on the steering column
Remove the switch fitted on the steering column
  Caution
Before working on the electrical system, disconnect the battery earth strap.
  Note!
t  Before disconnecting the battery, consult the anti-theft code of the radio.
t  If the battery is reconnected, check the vehicle equipment (radio, clock, power windows) according to the repair manual and/or the instructions for use.
–  Remove the passenger side airbag unit. → Bodywork - Installation work; Rep. Gr.69
   
–  Loosen the Phillips head screws -arrows-.
–  Remove the covering lower for the switch fitted on the steering column.

–  Remove the connector -arrow- of the reverse unit.

–  Loosen the hexagonal bolt (50 Nm) -2-.
–  Set the steering wheel -1- at the centre position (with the wheels straight).
–  Remove the steering wheel -1- from the steering column.

–  Remove the covering upper of the switch fitted on the steering column -1-.
–  Loosen the three fixing nuts -arrows-.

–  Remove the connectors -arrows- of the switch fitted on the steering column.
–  Remove downwards the casing of plug -1- in the antitheft casing lock from the guide.
–  Remove the switch fitted on the steering column.
