  Note
t  By disconnecting the earth strap (power interrupted), safety is guaranteed while working on the electrical system.
t  The battery positive only needs to be disconnected if the battery is to be removed.
t  The earth strap must not be disconnected from the bodywork.
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers.
   
–  Lift the fuse box cover-1- in the direction of the -arrow A-.
–  Remove bolt-2-.
–  Disconnect the connector -4-from the spark plug preheating relay.
–  Insert a flat screwdriver into the fuse box support groove -arrows- and unclip the tabs.
–  Place the main fuse box to one side, as far as the cable of the battery allows.

–  Loosen the securing bolt -4- and disconnect the negative terminal -3- of the battery.
–  Loosen the securing bolt -2- and disconnect the negative terminal -1- of the battery.
