For replacing, proceed as follows:
–  Remove the steering column switch → Electrical system; Rep. Gr.94

–  When installed, the cable tie -1- must be opened.

–  Loosen the fuses -arrows 1 and 2- and open the locking tab using the wedge to aid dismounting -U 30800--arrow 3-.

–  Remove the retainer in -the direction of the arrow-.

–  Remove the pins at positions -1 to 14- and -32 to 37- using the Release tool -VAS 1978/35-2-.

–  Remove the pins at positions -15 to 31- using the Release tool -VAS 1978/35-18-.
–  Remove the pins at positions -38 to 41- using the Release tool -VAS 1978/35-13-.
