t  Disconnect the battery earth strap
t  In vehicles with coded radio, consult the code before disconnecting the battery earth strap
t  Lubricate the points of support and the sliding surfaces with -G 052 142 A2- grease
1 - Support
q   First remove the steering column before removing the bracket. → Running gear, axles, steering; Rep. Gr.48
q   Separate brake pedal from brake main cylinder → Brake system; Rep. Gr.46
2 - Hexagon bolt
q   25 Nm
3 - Hexagonal nut, self-locking
q   25 Nm
q   5 units
q   To fix the bracket to the brake servo
4 - Support
5 - Hexagon bolt
q   25 Nm
6 - Safety catch
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
7 - Brake and clutch pedal shaft
q   Assembly position: the recess -arrow- should be facing the clutch pedal side
8 - Bearing bush
q   For locating the steering column
9 - Brake pedal
10 - Cap
11 - Clutch pedal
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
12 - Safety catch
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
13 - Support
q   For the clutch cable
14 - Clutch cable
q   With automatic adjustment
q   Assign according to the Spares Catalogue
q   Checking functioning → Chapter
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter and → Chapter
15 - Clutch cable
q   Without automatic adjustment
q   Assign according to the Spares Catalogue
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
q   Adjusting → Chapter
16 - Clutch cable adjustment nut
q   Secure with the counter nut after adjusting
17 - Return spring
q   Do not fit if a clutch cable with automatic adjustment is used
18 - Bellows
q   Fit to the wall of the bulkhead
