l  The gear lever must be in neutral, in the 3rd and 4th gear trail
–  Disengage clutch.
–  Select the all the gears several times. Check especially the reverse gear selection.
If on selecting a gear several times there is still stiffness, do the following:
–  Select 1st gear.
–  Eliminate gear action play, pressing the gear lever carefully left.
   
l  Distance betweent the protection box and the reverse gear hook= 1...1.5 mm (dimension “a”)
–  If this were not the case, effect a fine adjustment → Chapter
  V34-2410
