Removing and installing clutch pedal switch F36 > < Removing
Installation
Installation
–  Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence; note the following:

Lubricate the end of the tappet with lubricating grease, according to → Parts catalogue.
–  Fit the clutch master cylinder to the front panel.
–  Connect the pedal bracket to the base of the dashboard and secure with its nuts.
–  Install clutch pedal .
   
The allotment -A- must be on the operating rod -B- of the clutch master cylinder.
–  Secure the piston rod and, at the same time, press on the clutch pedal in the direction of the -arrow- to insert it into its allotment, ensure that it is correctly inserted on the clutch pedal.
  Note
If necessary, to aid the fitting of the connection on the clutch pedal, loosen the bolt securing the pedal to its bracket; this will allow more axial play between the pedal and the support.
–  Tighten hexagonal nut with collar: always replace: Starting torque: 25 Nm.
–  Insert clutch pedal switch into mount and turn 90º to right.

–  Fit the bolt -arrow- securing the clutch pedal stop to the pedal bracket.

  E30-0075
Replace the O-rings.
–  Press in pipe and hose assembly -1- with new O-ring -2- in master cylinder connection -4- until securing clip -3- is audibly secured.
–  Pull pipe and hose assembly to check it is properly secured.
–  Bleed air from hydraulic clutch system → Chapter.
