Removing and installing pipe and hose assembly in the clutch master cylinder
  Note
t  When performing the following operations, care must be taken not to spill brake fluid onto the side member or gearbox. If fluid comes into contact with them, the affected area must be thoroughly cleaned.
t  When removing the hose assembly or master cylinder, use the hydraulic seal adapters to avoid liquid leaking onto the body.
–  Place a lint-free cloth under the master cylinder.
–  To remove, the safety fastener must be released -3- with a screwdriver, and the pipe and hose assembly uncoupled -1- from the master cylinder -4-.

–  When removing the master cylinder-side hose, use the clutch circuit seal -SAT 1210- .
–  Use the circuit clamp (male) -SAT 1211- on the pipe, master cylinder side.
  Note
t  Only use approved oil for the hydraulic circuits → Spare parts catalogue.
t  Replace the seals → Fig.
t  Secure hose unions with hose clamps the same as those of the series → Current Spare parts catalogue.
t  Do not depress the brake pedal.

–  In order to fit, the pipe and hose assembly -1- must be installed under pressure, together with the new O-ring -2-, in the master cylinder, until the safety fastener -3- is audibly secured.
–  Pull assembly, pipes and hose to check it is properly secured.
–  Bleed air from hydraulic clutch system → Chapter

–  Fit a lint-free cloth under the clutch slave cylinder.

–  Pull clip -A- for pipe/hose assembly out of slave cylinder until stop.
–  Pull pipe/hose assembly out of mounting -C-.
–  Pull pipe/hose line -B- out of slave cylinder and seal opening.
–  Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence; note the following:

t  Replace the seals → Fig.
t  Secure hose unions with hose clamps the same as those of the series → Current Spare parts catalogue.
t  Do not depress the brake pedal.
