Bearing

q	Will be destroyed during removal.

q	Pressing in → Fig.

8 -	Hexagon bolt, 15 Nm

q	Always renew

9 -	Right flange shaft

q	Pressing out → Fig.

q	Pressing in → Fig.

10 -	Sealing cover

11 -	Right flange shaft, complete

q	Supplied as spare part with bearing and dust plate.

q	Pressing in complete right flange shaft → Fig..

Pulling dust plate -B- off flange shaft. A -  Two arm puller, e.g. Kukko 20/10, with Matra V/170 extractor hooks

Pressing out flange shaft –  First remove retaining ring on bearing.

Pressing out flange shaft bearing Bearing will be destroyed when pressed out. –  Outer race (with rubber mounting) must be pulled out of bearing housing → Fig..

Pulling bearing outer race (with rubber mounting) -C- out of bearing housing A -  Counter support, e.g. -Kukko 22/2- B -  Internal puller 56...70 mm, e.g. Kukko 21/8

Pressing bearing into bearing housing

Pressing flange shaft into bearing housing –  Support bearing inner race with tube -2040- when pressing in flange shaft. –  Install retaining ring.

Pressing dust plate onto flange shaft –  Press in new dust plate -1- to dimension -a- = 48.5 mm.

Pressing new flange shaft complete with bearing -A- and dust plate into bearing housing
