Basic setting of the sliding door electronics
  Note
t  The basic setting may only be performed once the control unit is fitted in its installation location.
t  If the control unit is not installed, the integrated Hall sensor does not detect the correct position of the sliding door.
   
Basic setting of the sliding door electronics is performed with the vehicle diagnostic tester and vehicle diagnostics and service information system -VAS 5052-.
–  Select „Guided Fault Finding“ in the vehicle diagnosis and service information system -VAS 5052-.
–  Using the „GoTo“ key, select "Function/component selection" and the following menu items one after the other:
Basic setting for left sliding door - J558
t  Body
t  Bodywork - Fitting work (Repair groups 01, 50 ... 77)
t  01 - Self-diagnosis-compatible systems
t  BE - left sliding door - J558
t  BE - left sliding door, functions
t  BE - Basic adjustment (Rep. Group 55)
Basic setting for right sliding door - J731
t  Body
t  Bodywork - Fitting work (Repair groups 01, 50 ... 77)
t  01 - Self-diagnosis-compatible systems
t  BF - right sliding door - J731
t  BF - right sliding door, functions
t  BF - Basic adjustment (Rep. Group 55)
