| Removing and installing sliding door control unit |
Note| t | A new sliding door control unit is supplied in „factory mode“. |
| t | The „factory mode“ is automatically reset when the basic setting is performed. |
| Removal: |
| – | Remove side trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70. |
| – | Disconnect battery → Vehicle electrics; Rep. gr.27 |
| – | Unplug connector -1-. |
| – | Push control unit -3- off drive -2-. |
| Installation |
| – | Push control unit -3- onto drive -2-. |
| – | Plug in connector -1-. |
Note| t | The basic setting has to be performed and a functional check carried out before fitting the side trim. |
| t | To do so, the control unit must be fitted in its installation position. |
| – | Perform basic setting → Chapter. |
