Front seat back: removing
–  Remove front seat → Chapter.
   
–  Clamp the seat in the bracket for the seat repair -T20172/5-.
–  Remove rear cover on rocker panel side → Chapter.

–  Unscrew rear mounting bolt -1- on rear retaining bracket -4- from backrest -3-.
–  Remove side trim (tunnel end) → Chapter.
–  Loosen retaining clips.
–  Disconnect connector from servo-motor for 4-way lumbar support.

–  Disconnect connector -4- from heating mat on backrest -3-.

–  Unscrew the screws -1- and -2- (34,5 Nm) from the right to the left.
  Note
t  The bolts are microencapsulated and must be renewed each time they are loosened.
t  Before fixing new bolts clean the thread of the corresponding nuts.
–  Dismount the seat back from the seat frame.

Observe the safety precautions for working on airbags → Chapter.
