  Note
t  The backrest cover must be partially removed for removing the head restraint guides.
t  For greater clarity, the head restraint guides are shown removed.
–  Remove front seat → Chapter.
   
–  Clamp the seat in the bracket for the seat repair -T20172/5-.
–  Remove front backrest → Chapter.
–  Clamp the backrest in the bracket for the seat repair -T20172/5-.
–  Detach the cover in the lower area of the backrest so that you can access the lower area of the head restraint guides more easily → Chapter.

–  Using the backrest frame, operate the locking mechanism head -arrow A- of the restraint guides via button -1-.
–  Pull out the head restraint guide using the backrest button.
–  Using the backrest frame, operate the locking mechanism head -arrow B- of the restraint guides -2-.
–  Pull out the head restraint guide.
