Backrest adjustment motor: removing
Backrest adjustment motor: removing
–  Remove front seat → Chapter.
–  Clamp the seat in the bracket for the seat repair -T20172/5-.
–  Remove side trim (sill end) → Chapter.
–  Remove side trim (tunnel end) → Chapter.
–  Remove the front seat backrest upholstery and padding → Chapter.
   
–  Disconnect connector -5-.
–  Fold squeak insulation -2- to side.
–  Unscrew the bolt -4-.

  Note
The illustration shows the backrest of the front passenger's seat.
–  Use screwdriver to prise off spring lock washer -5- on side of backrest motor (detail view -B-).
–  Using a hammer and punch, knock shaft -4- through side of backrest frame.
–  Pull shaft -4- out of backrest frame -1- until backrest adjustment motor is released and you can take it out.
