  Note
Removal and installation on the left side of the vehicle are is described. The removal and installation of the right side of the vehicle is carried out respectively.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench kit -SAT 8010-
  L00-10226
Removing
–  Remove backrest (front) → Chapter.
–  Remove the cover and padding from the front seat backrest → Chapter
–  Unscrew both screws -1- and remove the backrest adjuster -2-.
–  If necessary, drill-out the rivet -3-.
–  Remove both upper wires -4- of the lumbar support from the backrest frame.
–  Remove the lumbar support from the backrest frame -5-.

Installing
Installation is carried out in reverse order. The following should be taken into account:
–  Screw in the bolt -1- and tighten to 1.5 Nm.
