Gear selector shaft: Clean

Note

t	Observe the general repair instructions → Chapter.

t	Cleaning norms when working on automatic gearbox. → Chapter

Operation process

–	Remove the end cap → Chapter

–	Remove automatic gearbox control unit -J217- → Chapter.

–	Clean selector shaft detents -arrows-. Use lint-free cloths. Take particular care to remove any metal particles or the like from the contact surfaces of the magnets.

Note

Make sure that spring -A- and roller -B- are properly secured.

–	Check roller -B- and spring -A- for damage; renew if necessary.

–	Clean senders -A-, -C- and -D- to remove dirt and metal particles if necessary.

–	Install automatic gearbox control unit -J217- → Chapter.

–	Install end cover → Chapter.
