| Read the measurement value block for the Air temperature sender for the left hand side vent (00756) -G150 - and the Air temperature sender for the right hand side vent (00757) -G151- (Climatic: Temperature sender, centre vent (01296) -G191- → Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051. |

| Theoretical values: Max. temperature 12°C (depending on the atmospheric temperature), difference between the measured values of less than 3°C |

| Set the air distribution to instrument panel vents. |

| Set the temperature on the left hand side of the Climatronic control unit (01320) -J255-/Air conditioning control unit -J301- to the highest possible setting. |

| Theoretical values: in the corresponding display field, the temperature rises to about that of the engine, in the corresponding display field for the passenger compartment, the temperature rises by less than 10°C |

| Set the temperature on the right hand side of the Climatronic control unit (01320) -J255-/Air conditioning control unit -J301- to the highest possible setting. |

| Regulate the temperature selection for the driver side on the control and indication panel to the lowest possible value. |
