Pressure and boiling point > < Physical basics:
Heat always flows from warmer to colder material
Heat always flows from warmer to colder material
Every material consists of a mass of moving molecules. The fast moving molecules of a hot matter transfer some of their energy to the cooler, slower moving molecules. By doing so, the movement of the molecules of the hotter matter is slowed down, while the movement of the molecules of the cooler matter is accelerated. This process continues until the molecules of both matters move at the same speed. They have the same temperature, and no further exchange of heat occurs.
