| Instructions for filling the compressor |

| Drain all the refrigerant oil from the old compressor and measure the amount obtained. |

| Drain all the oil from the new compressor. |
| –
| Fill the new compressor with the same amount of refrigerant oil as that measured in the old compressor. |
| After first filling the refrigerating circuit or after cleaning the refrigerating circuit, all the refrigerant oil is in the compressor. |
| To avoid damaging the compressor on starting, proceed as follows: |

| Locate the rotating control for air distribution in „central nozzle“ position. |
| –
| Open all the nozzles on the dash panel. |
| –
| Set the fresh air blower switch at least to level 3. |
| –
| Turn the temperature selection control to the left as far as it will go (lowest temperature). |
| –
| After setting the idling speed (after approx. 5 seconds), turn on the air conditioner. |
| –
| Allow engine to run run continually at idle speed for 5 minutes. Maximum engine revolutions: 2500 rpm. |
| –
| Then switch off the air conditioning. |
| In this way the oil will be distributed in the refrigerating circuit and the compressor can then be used at full power. |
