Removing and fitting high-pressure sender -G65- |
Note t
In vehicles with Climatronic , the control and indicator panel, Climate control unit -J255-, processes the signal from the high pressure sender -G65- and activates the compressor via the compressor regulator valve, air conditioning -N280-.
t
In vehicles with Climatic, it is the Air conditioning control unit -J301- which processes the signal from the high pressure sender -G65- and activates the compressor via the compressor regulator valve, air conditioning -N280-.
t
The cooling power cannot be tested once the High pressure sender -G65- is removed, theClimatronic control unit -J255-/Air conditioning control unit -J301- will not activate the compressor.
t
The refrigerant circuit remains closed (connection with valve).
t
Check the operation of the High pressure sender -G65- and the output signal → Chapter.
t
Different fitting locations depending on the engine, for vehicles with 2.0 litre Diesel engine, theHigh pressure sender -G65-for example is not fitted on the coolant hose from the expansion valve to the condenser; it is fitted instead to the tube from the compressor to the condenser.
t
For those vehicles with a 1.6 litre petrol engine, the High pressure sender -G65- may be removed without first removing other components (access from above).
