O-Rings for the refrigerant circuit
O-Rings for the refrigerant circuit
t  Only use once and then renew.
t  Moisten slightly with refrigerant oil before fitting.
t  Ensure that they are positioned correctly on pipe or in groove.
t  Take care to avoid dirt.
  Note
t  Only O-rings which are resistant to refrigerant R134a and the corresponding refrigerant oil may be installed. These O-rings are easily identified by their colour to avoid possible confusion (currently “red”, “purple” or “violet”): → Spare parts catalogue
t  In addition to the coloured O-rings, black O-rings are also used at the factory for certain connections.
   
t  The measurements -a- and -b- are different, depending on the fitting position of the O-rings: → Spare parts catalogue
t  It is only permissible to combine components with the same type of seal and the corresponding O-rings (different versions). Reliable sealing of the joints cannot be ensured if components with different forms of sealing are fitted. → Spare parts catalogue
