| The compressor can be detached from the support and re-attached without opening up refrigerant pipes. |

| Following is the description of the removal and fitting of the compressor for a 2.0 litre petrol engine and a „Denso“ type „7 SEU 16“ compressor. There may be small differences in vehicles with a different engine or different compressor (depending on the engine concerned it may be necessary to remove or detach other auxiliary groups) |

| The refrigerant circuit must not be emptied; nor should the flexible tubes and the tubes for the refrigerant on the compressor be disconnected. |

| Do not unfasten refrigerant pipes and corresponding clips. |

| After detaching, use wire for example to attach compressor to longitudinal member. Never leave hanging from refrigerant pipes. |

| Before removing the Poly-V belt, mark the direction of rotation using chalk or a marker. Running a used belt in the opposite direction could destroy it. |
