Testing the operation of the button for the air recirculation option and activation of the Servomotor for fresh air / air recirculation flap -V154-
   
t  When the air recirculation function is selected, an indicator lights on the button -F- (check the operation of the push button for the Servomotor for the fresh air / air recirculation flap -V154- → Chapter) → Vehicle instructions manual → Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations.
t  The button -F- is used to select the function “air recirculation” and the indication lamp on the button -F- lights up. Pressing the button -F- once more or turning the ignition off, deactivates the function “air recirculation” (when the ignition is turned on again the servomotor returns to the position for the “Fresh air ”) → Vehicle instructions manual.
t  To clear fogged up windows as rapidly as possible, the function “air recirculation ” is deactivated a short time after turning the air distribution rotating control -B- to the position -D-“air distribution to windscreen” and the indicator lamp on the button -F- is switched off.

–  If the air distribution is changed for example to the foot well area using the rotating control -B- the heating remains on the fresh air option.
–  If the rotating control -B- is turned past the position -D-“air distribution to the windscreen” (for example from the dashboard vents to the upper or lower position) the air recirculation option is not deactivated.
–  If the rotating control -B- remains in the position -D-“air distribution to the windscreen” the button -F- may be used to reactivate the “air recirculation option”.
