Refitting
Refitting
–  Lubricate all bearings and contact surfaces with -MoS2- grease.
–  Fit the clutch pedal, together with the bearing tube and the washer, on the pedal shaft.
–  Extract the M8 bolt or the punch to the right.
–  At the same time fit the clutch and brake pedal shaft as far as it will go; move the brake pedal a little if necessary.
–  Fit the washer and tighten the hexagonal nut.
   
–  Fix the clutch cable to the clutch pedal -arrow-. Replace the plastic flange cut in the removal process.
–  Fit the clutch cable to the gearbox → Chapter.
–  Fit the protective plate of the pedal unit.
–  Refit the relay board, the connector support and the fuse holder in their places; check the connectors for the cables and the relays, fitting if necessary.
The remaining fitting operations are as before but in reverse order.
–  Fit the cover of the footrest area and the packet holder of the driver side under the instrument panel.
–  Fit the lower linings of the light switch and the steering column. → Bodywork, fitting work, interior; Rep. Gr.68
–  Make sure that the clutch cable works properly → Chapter.
Torque
Hexagonal nut of the clutch and pedal shaft: 25 Nm
