t  The oil level must not be above the max. mark! - danger of damaging catalytic converter!

Oil pressure and oil pressure switch: checking → Chapter.
Oil capacities
With oil filter 4,0 ltrs.
Engine oil specifications
Use engine oils to standard VW 500 00, VW 501 01 or VW 502 00. Only in exceptional cases: multigrade oils corresponding to API -SF or SG specifications.
