| The cooling system is under pressure when the engine is hot. Therefore, this pressure should be reduced before repair. |

| The connections of the hoses are secured with strip clamps. In case of repair, use strip clamps only. |
| t
| To install the strip clamps, pliers -T20029- are recommended. |
| Indications on coolant mixture → Chapter, Coolant: drain and fill. |
| Check the cooling system for leaks with the help of the -V.A.G 1274- and the adapter -V.A.G 1274/3-. |
