| Open cap on coolant expansion tank. |

| Drain coolant from bottom radiator hose. |
| If the cooling system was filled with G11 additive -green-: |

| Before repositioning the coolant hose and filling it with fresh G12 coolant -purple-, the cooling system should be cleaned in the following manner: |

| Empty the cooling system of any remaining liquid. To do this, apply compressed air to the coolant expansion tank. |
| –
| Close down the cooling system and fill it with water only. |
| –
| Run the engine for about 2 minutes. |
| –
| Once again, drain the liquid and clean the cooling system using compressed air. |
