Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Counterhold -T20127-
t  Base -T20172/1-
t  Tower -T20172/2-
t  Engine support -T20172/3-
t  Workshop crane

For installation work, the engine must be secured with the adaptor -T20172/3- to the counterhold -T20172-.
Work sequence
   
–  Position the counterhold -T20127- at points “10” and “11”-arrows- and attach it to the engine at the couplings -1-.
  WARNING
Check that the hooks are closed with the safety nuts.
–  Using the workshop crane, remove the engine from the counterhold -T20205-.
  Note
If it is planned to carry out operations on the crankshaft or sealing flanges, the flywheel and intermediate plate must be separated before fixing to the counterhold -T20172/3- → Chapter.
–  Lower the engine with workshop crane from the engine bracket.

–  Fit in the engine block the engine support -T20172/3- assembly and -T20172/2-.
–  Position the engine in the support -T20172-.
