Removing and installing coolant temperature sender -G62-
t  Removing → Anchor
t  Installing → Anchor
Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
   
Removing
l  Engine cold.
–  Disconnect the engine cover-arrow-.
–  Open filler cap on coolant expansion tank briefly and allow residual pressure in cooling system to dissipate.
–  Remove exhauster pump → Chapter.

–  Disconnect connector -2- from coolant temperature sensor -G62-.
–  Remove the securing clip -1- and remove the coolant temperature sender -G62-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in reverse order. Note the following:

t  Replace O-rings.
t  In order to prevent the coolant from escaping, set the coolant temperature sender -G62- in the connection immediately.
–  Check coolant level → Chapter.
