  WARNING
When opening the expansion tank, extremely hot vapour may be released; cover the cap with a cloth and open carefully.
  Note
t  When the engine is warm, the cooling system is under pressure. If necessary, release pressure before beginning repair work.
t  Secure all hose connections with the correct type of hose clips (same as original equipment) → Parts catalogue.
t  We recommend using pliers -VAS 6499- or pliers for spring-loaded band-type clamp -VAS 6340- for installing spring-loaded band-type clamp.
t  Renew gaskets and seals.
t  The arrows on the coolant pipes and on the ends of the hoses must be aligned with each other.
