Fitting . > < Oil pump: removing and installing
Removal:
Removal:
–  First remove principal notched belt → Chapter.
   
–  Fix the notched belt wheel corresponding to the crankshaft -1- using the former securing bolt -2- to the crankshaft.
–  Position crankshaft at TDC cylinder. 1:
–  The notched tooth of the notched belt wheel should line up with the mark on the oil pump -arrow-.
–  Turn the crankshaft or the timing belt sprocket three teeth in an anticlockwise direction from TDC position.

The third tooth -arrow- and the TDC mark of the oil pump should line up the right of the lowered tooth -A- of the timing belt wheel.
  Note
This adjustment establishes the assembly position of the crankshaft in order to house the oil pump. One of the crankshaft cam rods is up.
–  Remove the principal timing belt tension roller.
–  Remove sump → Chapter
–  Remove intake manifold → Item
–  Remove the timing belt cogwheel from the crankshaft.
–  Remove oil pump.
–  Remove gasket.
–  Using a flat scraper, remove sealant residue from the cylinder block.
–  Clean sealing surfaces: these must be free of oil and grease.
