| Turn the crankshaft or the toothed belt pinion three teeth counter clockwise from TDC: The third tooth to the right of the shortened tooth -A- must coincide with the TDC mark on the oil pump housing -arrow-. |
Note! This setting establishes the crankshaft fitting position for fitting the oil pump. One of the crankshaft drive cams is up. |

| Remove the toothed belt from the crankshaft and the toothed belt tensioning roller. To do so immobilise the pinion with countersupport -T20018A-. |

| Remove the intake line → Item. |
Note! On vehicles with air conditioning, if necessary, partially remove the vane pump-compressor-alternator support. |

| Eliminate the sealant residues from the engine block with a flat scraper. |

| Clean the sealing surfaces of all oil and grease. |
