Removing
Note
First replace seals and gaskets.

Drain coolant

Remove toothed belt
→ Chapter
.

Unscrew the attachment bolts
-1-
from the coolant pump
-2-
and take out the liquid coolant pump very carefully.
Installing
Install in the reverse order from removal, remembering the following:
Note
Renew O-ring.

Clean or smoothen the contact surface for O-ring.
–
Moisten new O-ring
-3-
with coolant.

Fit the cooling liquid pump
-2-
to the engine block and tighten the attachment bolts
-1-
to a torque of 15 Nm.
Note
The coolant pump plug faces downwards.
