Oil pump: removing and installing
Oil pump: removing and installing
t  Removing → Anchor

Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench kit -SAT 8010-, see equivalent → Anchor
Removing
–  Remove sump → Chapter.
–  Remove the baffle plate.
  L00-10226
–  Unscrew bolt -2-.
–  Remove gear from the oil pump shaft.
–  Unscrew the bolts -1- and -3- and remove the oil pump.
Installing
Install in the reverse order from removal, remembering the following:
  Note
t  Place the centring sleeves → Item on the upper part of the oil pump.
t  Tightening torque of oil pump bolts: 15 Nm
t  The oil pump axle pinion can only be inserted into position.
