Removing and installing ignition coils with output stages > < Servicing ignition system

1 - Electric connector
q   4-pin, black
q   Remove with extractor -T10118-
2 - Ignition coils
q   Ignition coil 1 with output stage -N70-
q   Ignition coil 2 with output stage -N127-
q   Ignition coil 3 with output stage -N291-
q   Ignition coil 4 with output stage -N292-
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
3 - Electric connector
q   Black, 2-pin
q   For knock sensor 1 -G61-
q   Connector contacts are gold-plated
4 - Knock sensor 1 -G61-
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
q   Connector contacts are gold-plated
5 - Bolt
q   Tightening torque: 20 Nm
q   Tightening torque influences functions of knock sensor
6 - Electric connector
q   3-pin, black
q   for Hall sender -G40-
7 - Hall sender -G40-
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
8 - O ring
q   Replace if damaged
9 - Bolt
q   Tightening torque: 10 Nm
10 - Spark plug,
q   Tightening torque: 30 Nm
q   Remove and install with the spark plug spanner -3122 B-
q   Type and spark gap → Chapter
11 - Cable duct
q   Tighten the camshaft housing to a torque of 5 Nm
12 - Earth cable
q   Tighten or loosen only when the ignition is off
13 - Bolt
q   Tightening torque: 10 Nm
q   Tighten or loosen only when the ignition is off
