| When working on the fuel supply/injection system, pay careful attention to the following „6 rules“: |

| Thoroughly clean all joints and connections and the surrounding areas before dismantling. |
| t
| Place parts that have been removed on a clean surface and cover them. Use only lint-free cloths. |
| t
| If repairs cannot be carried out immediately, carefully cover or seal open components. |
| t
| Install only clean parts: Replacement parts must be removed from their packaging at the moment of installation. Do not use parts that have been stored loose (e.g. in toolboxes etc.). |
| t
| If the system is open, do not apply compressed air if possible. Do not move the vehicle unless absolutely necessary. |
| t
| Protect separate connectors from dirt and humidity. Only connect them if they are dry. |
