Removing
–  Unscrew the 3 screws of the right cover on the vehicle underfloor -arrows-.

–  Disconnect electrical connection -1- for lambda probe after catalytic converter -G130-.
–  Remove the connector from the retainer -2- and expose the cable for the Lambda probe.

–  Remove the bridge of the front tunnel from the vehicle underfloor -arrows-.
  Note
The vibration shock absorbing elements in the front exhaust pipe must not be bent more than 10° - otherwise they can be damaged.
–  Loosen exhaust system from double clamp -1-.

–  Unscrew the holder of the exhaust system -arrows-

–  Unbolt heat shield for right drive shaft -arrows-.

–  Remove the support -A-.
  N26-10635
–  Remove securing nuts -arrows- for exhaust manifold to front exhaust pipe.
–  Take exhaust pipe off with catalytic converter.
Installation:
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
–  Always gaskets and self-locking nuts.

–  Install the support -A- without apply force.
–  Align exhaust system without tension → Chapter
Tightening torques:

1) Renew self-locking nuts
