To fit the sealing flange with the sender wheel to the crankshaft > < Sealing flange for the crankshaft, flywheel side: Replace
To remove the sealing flange with the sender wheel from the crankshaft
To remove the sealing flange with the sender wheel from the crankshaft
  Note
t  For clarity, the process is described with the engine removed.
t  The sequence of instructions is identical with the engine mounted and the gearbox removed.
Work sequence
–  Remove the flywheel and the drive plate.
–  Place the engine at TDC cylinder 1 → Chapter.
–  Remove sump → Chapter.
   
–  Remove the engine speed sender -G28--arrow-.
–  Unscrew the attachment bolts from the sealing flange.
  Note
The sealing flange and the sender crown are removed together from the crankshaft using three M6×35 mm bolts.
  N13-10083
–  Screw three bolts M6 x 35 mm into the threaded holes of the sealing flange-arrows-.
–  Screw in the bolts alternatively (max. 1/2 turn (180°) per bolt) on the sealing flange and remove it from the crankshaft together with the sender crown.
