  Note!
t  When the engine is hot the cooling system is under pressure. If necessary release pressure before commencing repair work.
t  The flexible tube connections are secured by spring type clips. In cases of repair only use spring-type clips.
t  When fitting the clips, the use of the pliers -T20029- is recommended.
t  The flexible tubes for the coolant should be kept free of tension for fitting, without touching any other components (note the indication mark on the coolant connection and the flexible tubing).
Verify the seal of the cooling system using the tester -V.A.G 1274- and the adapters -V.A.G 1274/8- and -V.A.G 1274/9- → Chapter
