t  Removing → Anchor
t  Installing → Anchor
Removing
–  Remove poly V-belt → Chapter.
–  Remove the alternator → Electrical system ; Rep. gr.27.
–  Remove the coolant hose → Chapter.
   
–  Remove coolant hose -2- from the coolant distribution box, pulling out the retaining clip -1- to do so.

–  Unscrew the bolts -arrows- and remove the coolant distribution box with thermostat from the engine block.
Installing
Continue the installation in the reverse order of removal sequence, observing the following:
  Note
Renew O-ring.
–  Clean and smooth down sealing surface for O-ring as required.
–  Moisten new O-ring with coolant G12+.
–  Fit the coolant distribution box with thermostat on the engine block, and tighten the bolts evenly to a torque of 15 Nm.
