t  pressure tool -U-30042-

Removing
–  Lift off engine cover -arrows-.
  E10-10017
–  Choke the coolant pipes towards the exhaust gas recirculation valve using the pressure tool -U-30042-
–  Disconnect the coolant hose -1- from the exhaust gas recirculation valve.
–  Disconnect the connector -2- of the exhaust gas recirculation valve with a potentiometer for exhaust gas recirculation

Shown in illustration with engine removed.

–  Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation pipe -2- from the exhaust gas recirculation valve.

–  Remove securing bolt -1-.
–  Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation pipe -2- from the exhaust gas recirculation valve.
  A26-0713
–  Remove the exhaust gas recirculation valve -1 ... 3- and lay aside.
Installing
Continue the installation in the reverse order of removal sequence, observing the following:
  Note
t  All the cable ties should be refitted in the same place as during the assembly.
t  Always replace self-locking nuts and bolts during assembly.
t  Renew all seals.
–  Fill up coolant → Chapter.
