Checking oil level
Checking oil level
Test prerequisites
l  Engine oil temperature at least. 60 ℃.
l  Vehicle parked on level ground.
l  After stopping the engine, wait some minutes for the oil to return to the sump.
Checking sequence
–  Pull out the oil dipstick, clean it with a clean cloth and reinsert it fully.
–  Then, take out the dipstick again and read the oil level.
   
Markings on oil dipstick:
A - Oil must not be replenished.
B - Oil may be replenished. After topping up with oil, take care that the oil level does not exceed area -A-.
C - Oil must be replenished. It will be sufficient when the oil level reaches area -B- (hatched area).
  Note
There is a risk of damaging the catalytic converter when oil level is above area -A-.
