Fitting a new control unitJ104 > < ABS control unit J104 and ABS control unit and ABS hydraulic unitN55 : removal.
Unscrew the ABS control unitJ104 from the ABS hydraulic unit N55
Unscrew the ABS control unit -J104- from the ABS hydraulic unit - N55-
  Note
   
–  Place the hydraulic unit and the control unit facing downwards on a flat, clean surface.
–  Unscrew the Torx screws of the control unit.
–  Remove the control unit from the hydraulic unit -arrow- in a perpendicular direction, without turning.
–  Carefully remove all the seals to the hydraulic unit valve stems.
  WARNING
t  When the control unit has been removed, the printed circuit board is visible.
t  Do not allow dirt or damp to enter the control unit.
t  Avoid electrostatic discharge!
–  Cover the control unit solenoids with a lint-free cloth.
After disconnecting control unit and hydraulic unit, fit transportation protection for valve domes.
