Installing > < Hand brake cable: removing and installing

Removing
Removing
–  Put the hand brake lever in the rest position, downwards.
   
–  Partially unscrew the bolts attaching the centre console, do not completely remove the console → Bodywork, interior fitting work; Rep. gr. 68
–  Lift the console in the direction of the arrow.

–  Loosen the adjustment nut -arrow- to release the hand brake cables from the compensation brace.

–  Lever and extract the attachment securing the hand brake cable to the bracket-1- .
–  Push the brake lever -2- in the direction of the -arrow- and release the hand brake cable -3- from the lever -2-.

–  Remove the Torx bolt -1-.

–  Release the hand brake cable from the bracket -1- and remove it from the guide rail -2-.
