Brake pedal > < Removal:

Leon Mk2

Fitting
Fitting
l  The piston is removed.
l  The brake pads are seated on the brake back plate.
–  Fit the brake calliper to the brake back plate with the new autolocking bolts.
–  Screw the brake pipe to the brake calliper.
–  Bleed brake system → Chapter.
–  Hook the hand brake cable and fasten it to the support with the elastic clip.
–  Adjust handbrake → Chapter.
–  Fit wheel.
  Note
t  Press several times on the brake pedal fully with the vehicle stationary, so that the brake pads sit correctly into their service position.
t  Check the brake fluid level and refill in case of doubt.
Tightening torques.
   
Hexagonal bolt, brake calliper to the brake back plate
t  Use new screws!
35 Nm
Screw the hose to the brake calliper.38 Nm
